The colour palettes are also so lovely especially the yellows and lemongrass.I am saving my pennies to snap up some of these gems quick and fast and I think you should too.Love your work Freedom!

My favourite piece that I'll be snapping up is the Mika 2 door/2 drawer buffet in Yellow. Giveaway + Artist Feature // Ragdoll Illustrations :: Part One

If you haven't heard of Ragdoll Illustrations by now, you're either living under a rock or are about to see a lot of this young lady. I stumbled across Sally's work via her Instragram and have been a huge fan since. Hailing from Wellington,New Zealand not only is Sally's work creative, colourful and fun - she herself embodies these characteristics and is just so lovely! No wonder.
Clean lines and adorable characters are what distinguishes Sally's illustration work from the pack. The colour pallette's Sally exhibits in her work -  golds, silvers, pastels as well as bold oranges and electric blues are a real standout for me because I feel they  wonderfully compliment the clean lines and cute characters she illustrates as outlined above.

Sally's illustration talents have been used alongside some great kiwi brands including Coffee Supreme   and in collaboration with the likes of Ruby Boutique.

It was so hard choosing the images for this post, because I  just adore all of her illustrations! How cute is the animal masks print above 'We're the perfect pair'? Definetly in my wish list.
If you're ever struggling to find that perfect unique gift for a loved one than look no further. You can support a local kiwi business as well as snap up some original top quality design - perfect.

Coming soon will also be a full interview with Sally so you can learn a bit more about the brains behind Ragdoll. Scroll down further to also find out how you can win a Ragdoll Illustrations print over on Instagram!

Step Inside // Portland,Oregon Home Walk Through

I adore San Francisco based blogger Victoria Smith's blog called sfgirlbybay and stumbled upon these images photographed and styled by Jaclyn Campanaro that I'm sharing with you today.

What strikes me about Jacyln's work is the way she effortlessly decorates her home with exotic greenery, bright aztec rugs and lovely pastel coloured walls whilst keeping the home cool, calm and collected. It's exciting when you stumble upon a home styled almost exactly the way you'd style your home - I don't think I would change a thing about this home. Yum.

How lovely is this peach coloured foot stool pared with the pastel blue wall. Not to mention the stunning black and white hide rug, yum! Love that colour pallette mix. You can find a similar hide from Paper Plane Store HERE as well as blankets and throws similiar to the ones in these images from LET LIV HERE
It is clear that Jaclyn not only has an eye for styling but also behind the camera lens.We see this home styled in a fashion where old meets new, and it works. The black and white checker floor above is stunning especially with the bookcase in view. The floor reminds me of a wonderful cafe we have up the road from my home called Kokako in Grey Lynn,Auckland.

I have a current mad obsession with cacti and just plants in general. They make for an excellent indoor feature.

If you would like to see more images and write up, please check it out HERE

Till our next walk through...Happy Tuesday y'all!

Please & Thanks // Autumn Favourites

Happy Thursday everyone! How fast has this week gone? Certainly very quickly in my books....

With autumn's arrival I have selected some homeware and fashion favourites to share with y'all today.

I have been really impressed with Glassons lately; their cute felt fedora hat in particular is a worthy purchase at $30. My favourite collections from Ruby are their autumn and winter ranges and this season is no exception. Their grey knit is perfect to keep you toasty on a wonderfully cold day. I'm loving Fog Linen's products and was stoked to see The Family Design Co stocking these beautiful pillows to keep things cuddly with a cup of tea and a good book. I have already posted about Jamie Kay's beautiful cross blanket HERE, but figured it was a worthy mention as an autumn favourite. Any design with scandinavian influence has a big tick of approval from me. Let Liv also have a lovely collection of rugs, perfect to throw on the bed or on the couch to add some style. I like the one pictured because of the soft pastel colour palette which would suit a large variety of homes and styles.

So, without further ado, here are some of my picks!
1 // Felt Fedora from Glassons
2 // Moonrise Jumper from RUBY Boutique
3 // Fog Linen Cushion Covers from The Family Design Store
4 // Jamie Kay Blanket by Jamie Fridd
5 // Kate & Kate Jagger Blanket from Let Liv

Go check out these delicious products and companies and support local!
